Short Term Scientific Mission (STMS)

Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) in TREASURE are exchange visits that enable Researchers and Innovators to visit a host organization in a different country from their affiliation. These missions promote knowledge exchange, support individual mobility, strengthen international networks, and foster collaboration. STSMs specifically contribute to TREASURE’s scientific objectives while allowing participants—particularly Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs, up to 40 years old)—to learn new techniques, access specialized data, instruments, or methods unavailable at their home institutions. At the same time, the Host organization benefits by expanding its international connections and developing long-lasting collaborations.
