The advantages of TREASURE COST Action rest in the multidisciplinary and international network of experts and stakeholders advancing the study of maternal perinatal stress and its detrimental consequences for the offspring. This Action has been designed to expand knowledge in this field, and to promote the prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of maternal perinatal stress and adverse consequences in children. Meetings, conferences, and Training Schools across Europe will foster and establish evidence-based knowledge among young researchers that can be translated into good clinical guidelines to improve maternal care. The outputs resulting from this Action will have a positive impact on women, partners, families and their children, while decreasing the socio-economic cost of maternal and paediatric health care. This Events Section highlights the main events being held as part of this COST Action.
