This workshop aims to provide an overview of the methodological steps for performing meta-analyses after a systematic review. The generation of robust and useful evidence for practice based on a meta-analysis relies on the: Develop a systematic review first. Appropriate data extraction for meta-analysis. Appropriate software use. Assessment of the methodological quality and risk of bias of primary studies. Quantitative synthesis of the evidence. Interpretation of the results obtained.
